Science Museum

The Science Museum in London is one of the three major museums on Exhibition Road in South Kensington along with the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The science museum was found in 1857 and is still today one of London's most popular attractions as it attracts over 3.3 million visitors annually. Like other publicly funded museums in London, the Science Museum does not charge admission although temporary visiting exhibitions may charge a small fee.

The Science Museum currently holds over 300,000 items including the first jet engine, Stephenson's rocket, the Puffing Billy steam locomotive, a reconstruction of an iconic DNA model, documentation of the first typewriter and many more interesting items. The museum also includes many interactive exhibitions while they recently an IMAX 3D Cinema to show science and nature activities.
